Welcome to IT-Tech Online. By accessing or using our website (https://www.it-tech.com.au), or visiting our service centre located at 163A East Boundary Road, Bentleigh East VIC 3165, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Services
We provide professional repair services for MacBooks, iMacs, and Windows-based laptops (including HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, etc.). All services are subject to assessment and technical feasibility. We reserve the right to refuse service for any device if it is beyond economical repair or if servicing it may pose a safety risk.
2. Quotes and Payments
All quotes provided are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary depending on additional issues found during repair. Full payment is required upon completion of services. We accept EFTPOS, major credit cards, and cash payments in-store.
3. Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our repairs:
Replacement Parts: 6-month warranty
Repair Workmanship (Labour): 3-month warranty
The warranty covers only the parts replaced and/or the specific repair performed. It does not cover:
Accidental damage (e.g., drops, liquid spills)
Software issues
Third-party tampering
Devices previously serviced elsewhere for the same issue
4. Data Responsibility
Customers are fully responsible for backing up all personal data before submitting a device for service. While we take every precaution to protect your data, IT-Tech Online is not liable for data loss under any circumstances.
5. Turnaround Times
Estimated repair times are provided as a guide only. Delays may occur due to:
Complexity of the issue
Parts availability
Additional damage not initially disclosed
We will keep you informed if there are unexpected delays.
6. Abandoned Devices
Devices not collected within 90 days of repair completion may be considered abandoned. IT-Tech Online reserves the right to dispose of or recycle the device in accordance with local laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IT-Tech Online is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of our services, including but not limited to data loss, device failure after repair, or delays in service.
8. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes related to our services shall be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
