Laptop Screen Repair & Replacement

Absolute sensational customer service. I put in an online enquire and got a phone call a few hours later with pricing to upgrade my 2012 MacBook Pro. Yes very old MacBook but I like it as it still has the CD player and burner. After reading all the google reviews it was a no brainer. 5 star rating with over 250 reviews. Took in Monday and had it back on Tuesday. Can highly recommend. Frances thank you for upgrading my memory and Ram. It’s like a brand new MacBook.

Many thanks to Frances. She has been very professional throughout the deal. I first contacted her during the Covid lockdown time. And, she followed up me a couple of weeks later when store opened up.

She was very thoughtful to fill me with the right details and tips in each stage - be it about the work, cost, time, and even to choose which box to deliver the laptop.

There is one minor suggestion. I had a bit of trouble in keeping up with the pace of the conversation, as I am not a native English speaker(Agree that it's primarily due to my English comprehension skills). May be, that is one thing you can keep in mind.

Recently had a disaster after a few to many beers, my laptop somehow managed to steal a sip. Fantastic service. Initially I visited the Apple Store with a screen going black whenever opened more than 20 degrees. Their answer was a new screen or laptop (min. $1,000 plus). IT-Tech identified the most likely fault over the phone. I decided to post the Macbook from Brisbane to Melbourne. It was repaired (a cable replacement) and posted back to me in 24 hours, for less that a 1/3 of the price Apple wanted to fleece from me. I was kept up to date with the repair and shipping status several times during the few days the whole process took. The expertise and service of IT-Tech was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone.

Beautiful lady to constantly put a smile on my face when I call her! IT-Tech online assisted in replacing my 2012 Mac book pro screen after I smashed it! The service was quick, fantastic and affordable. Elsewhere I was quoted over $1000 just to have a second hand monitor replaced. 120% would recommend their service for Mac appliances.

7 anxious days after I spilled a whole glass of water on my laptop, here's what I now know I should have done:

1 - DON'T put it in rice. Turn it off RIGHT away, dry as much as possible with is facing upside down. DO NOT try turning it on again. Leave it butterflied open and upside down on a pillow to dry. Don't touch it.
2 - DON'T bother taking it to Apple unless you have Apple Care (which I now wish I paid for when I bought the laptop). They couldn't do anything and I'd have to buy a whole new laptop and lose all data.
3 - TAKE IT STRAIGHT TO FRANCES. It was badly water damaged so it was more expensive to fix ($1200) but worth it to not lose my hard drive and be able to use it again for work.
She fixed it in 48 hours and its working again WITH ALL MY DATA SAVED.

My 2017 MacBook Pro 13” (No Touch Bar) suddenly stopped working one day and I was panicking especially that I had important files on it and not to mention, I use this for school (now that everything has shifted online)... I was looking at options where to have my Mac repaired and luckily, this repair shop was the first that popped up on Google. Try as I might, I booked an appointment that same day and brought in my laptop and got a $600 quote to have it checked plus a Logic board repair to try and fix the problem. 3 days later (I brought in my computer for repair on a Friday), I received a phone call from the shop that my laptop not only was checked but also repaired. Throughout my experience with IT Tech, Frances has been very professional, very courteous and very helpful when it came to the services. I came out of the shop not only with my computer repaired but I was also a satisfied customer. Definitely, I’d recommend this shop for laptop repairs (whether a Mac or a Windows) especially if you live not too far from the Bentleigh area.

Highly recommended! Water Damaged MacBook Pro 2021 M1 chip fixed within two days with affordable price 🙂 !!! I brought my MacBook Pro to Apple Store and repair shop in Melbourne. However, most of them suggested to change to a new one especially the logic board is pretty much damaged by liquid. Frances team had certified and professional engineer that helped me to changed the logic board and screen sensor. Appreciated the engineer never give spirit! Everything solved like a magic! Frances is a miracle worker/angel/my new favourite person! I spilled water all over my Macbook Pro 2016 - and not just a little, I knocked over a whole glass straight on to the keyboard/speakers/touch bar. After freaking out for 24 hours (and letting it air dry - don’t put it in rice!!) I found out about Frances and gave her a buzz. Apple wanted $100 just to give me a quote on the damage - and let’s face it, they would’ve either said it was unfixable or quoted me a ridiculous price. Frances gave me a break down of what it would cost to fix it, depending on which parts were damaged (between $600-1200). For $850 she had it back to me the next day with all my data intact! Apple could never!! She repaired the logic board and replaced the touch pad. I cannot believe how lucky I am, I recommend her to everyone! Best service ever!

Francis was amazing from start to finish. I had to reschedule a couple of times and she was always accomodating. Diagnosed the issue so so quickly (dead battery) and was super clear about timing to get it back and costs.

I read all the prior reviews and was pleasantly surprised that the service lived up to the expectations set.

Pleasure to deal with from the get-go. My 2011 Macbook Pro finally had GPU problems, as they all do eventually. I did my research and realised IT-TECH were the only guys in Australia that did a proper fix for this problem (that will last). Whist getting the GPU fixed, I also had numerous other little things sorted out on my computer. All in all it feels new again after all their little touch ups.

Over the phone Frances really knew her stuff and was a prompt communicator.

Everything was reasonably priced.

It's nice that this service exists. I'll be able to continue using my beloved and old macbook now,for a few more years. Rather than just trashing it and buying a new one like Apple want us to do.

My Macbook pro had major issues including intermittent shut downs, a sick battery, and a screen that wouldn't close. Carl did a miraculous job repairing the above faults, plus more. Absolutely impeccable service from IT-Tech. I made an enquiry about upgrading my 2014 iMac and they replied immediately to my request. A 2tb SSD was added in place of the original 1tb drive and all of the content on my hard drive was transferred over and my machine was back to me within two business days; now it works better than it did when it was brand new. My daughter's Mac book Pro 2020 was not even 2 months old when a drink exploded in her bag and leaked into the laptop. Apple wanted to charge over $1500 to repair. After desperately trying to find an alternative I came across the it-tech website and asked for a quote.

Frances was amazing. All hope was lost after spilling water into my laptop. Apple said there was nothing that could be done and offered to recycle my old and supposedly laptop and offered a new one, at full price of course. Not one to give up easily I found Frances and upon arrival she seemed 100% confident she could fit it. 48 hours later laptop was totally fixed, all data there it was as if the spill never happened and at 420$ it was a hellva lot cheaper than buying a new laptop.
